Pre Competitive:
Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs
4-5:00 pm

The Pre-Competitive group is for young swimmers ages 10 & under with no swim team experience.  Swimmers only need to be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle and 25 yards of backstroke. Swimmers are introduced to butterfly and breaststroke, taught side breathing and flip turns for freestyle. Swimmers begin to learn cooperation and lap swimming etiquette, and what it means to belong on a team.  Fun and discovery in the pool are emphasized in the Pre-Comp group. 

Bronze:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
4-5:30 pm

The Bronze Group is an introductory level for beginning swimmers age 12 and under and for swimmers age 10 and under with one year of swim team experience or the equivalent.  Strokes are refined, and competitive skills, including starts and turns are developed.  Moderate aerobic conditioning is introduced for fitness and performance improvement.  Technique and fun are emphasized.  Swim meets are available, but not required. 

Silver:
Four-five days Monday - Friday, 4-5:30pm

The Silver group is for swimmers age 10-13 with a few years of swim team experience or the equivalent.  Silver group swimmers should be able to swim all four strokes legally and able to do flip turns.  Development and refinement of basic competitive skills is continued.  Conditioning becomes a more important factor in workouts.  Team camaraderie and sportsmanship are emphasized.  Swim Meets are available, but not required. 

Gold:
Monday through Friday, 4-5:30 pm
Saturday 8:30-10:30 am

The Gold group offers swimmers age 13-18 years an opportunity to train up to 6 times per week.  Gold group swimmers should be competent in all four competitive strokes.  Practices are designed to prepare swimmers for high school swimming, local age group competition, and possible development to senior level training and competition.  Basic and advanced competitive swimming skills are developed and refined.  A challenging conditioning program is offered to boost fitness, health and racing ability.  Goal setting and fun are emphasized.  Swim meet participation is encouraged, but not required. 

Senior:
Monday through Friday, 4-6 pm
Saturday 8:30-10:30 am

The Senior group provides highly motivated swimmers age 13 and over the opportunity to pursue and achieve competitive swimming success.  Senior group swimmers should already be competent and experienced swimmers.  Workouts are competitive and challenging.  Athletic ability as well as personal leadership qualities are developed.  Goals, commitment, and personal responsibility are emphasized.  In addition to 6 workout sessions per week, weekday morning workouts and dryland training instruction are available as determined by coach and athlete.
